Sumo Protease
- kgs to tons
- Available in liquid and powder forms
for fusion tag cleavage

Description
Recombinant SUMO Protease, 27kDa a highly active cysteinyl protease also known as Ulp, is a recombinant fragment of Ulp1 (Ubl-specific protease 1) from Saccharomycescerevisiae expressed in E.coli. SUMO Protease cleaves in a highly specific manner, recognizing the tertiary structure of the ubiquitin-like (UBL) protein from recombinant fusion proteins.
Application
- Precise removal of SUMO fusion tags.
- Production of native, functional proteins.
- Protein purification for structural and functional studies.
- Downstream processing in therapeutic protein manufacturing
